About Us

First and foremost, I am a follower of Jesus Christ, my Lord and Savior. It is through His grace and strength that I have found the courage to rise above the trials I have faced. As a survivor of sexual assault, domestic violence, and coerced exploitation, I sought wellness and tranquility to soothe my racing thoughts, overburdened body, and aching soul. Guided by my faith, I realized that if anyone was going to provide me with what I needed on this earth, it had to start with me. Thus, I began to create the peace I so desperately needed. Every product I curate, handcraft, or custom-make is a testament to the tranquility and peace that Jesus has brought into my life, intended to bring the same to others where it may be lacking.

With over a decade of experience in survivor advocacy, I have worked tirelessly with local, national, and global organizations to assist in the aftercare of women and children survivors. My passion for organic wellness, coastal design, and artistic expression is coupled with a deep commitment to seeing survivors made whole through mentorship, education, and social enterprise.

As the President and Founder of the Anchor’d Inc Foundation and CEO of the Anchor'd Inc Boutique, I lead a premium organic wellness and home accessories boutique that provides post-trauma care packages for newly identified survivors of sexual assault, domestic violence, and human trafficking, delivering them to safe homes across the nation.

My commitment to this cause extends to my roles as a member of EAST (Employers Against Sex Trafficking) for the city of Boston and the Massachusetts Attorney General's Office.

In recognition of my efforts, I have been inducted into the 2021 Boston Globe’s Everyday Heroes class, am a two-time Comcast Rise Award winner, and a multi-national award winner. I have been recognized by notable organizations such as the NAACP, Boston Celtics, and Lowe’s Home Improvement Stores, among others. My work has been featured on NBC and CBS, and I have participated in countless podcast interviews and local news articles. 

My philanthropy is driven by a singular goal: to bring freedom, tranquility, and restoration to women and children who have been abused and violated. As an  organic wellness artisan, my passion for tranquility at home and wellness in life stems from my love of the ocean. My need to move beyond my traumatic past has fueled my dedication to this cause. I continue to draw inspiration from my cherished ocean trips, channeling this passion for coastal tranquility into my work. Alongside my husband, Myron Patton, I am embarking on a journey to see survivors made healed, whole, and self-sufficient.
